Dr. Luis Montaño Hirose, He studied Administration at the School of Accounting and Administration, at UNAM. He obtained a Doctorate in Organizational Sciences from the University of Paris IX, France, and made a postdoctoral stay at the School of High Commercial Studies in Canada. Since 1981 he is a full-time professor at the Autonomous Metropolitan University, campus Iztapalapa. In that institution he served as Head of the Organization and Society Research Area and as Postgraduate Coordinator in Organizational Studies. He was the Head of the Mexican Network of Researchers in Organizational Studies. He served as Secretary of the Research Committee of Sociology of Organizations of the International Association of Sociology, Head of the Organizational Analysis Journal, and member of the Advisory Council of the Consortium of Mexican Universities and of the Board of Directors of the Ibero-American Association of Sociology of the Organizations. He currently serves as a member of various editorial committees both in Mexico and abroad. He served as President of the Social Sciences Dictaminating Commission of the National System of Researchers. He was a visiting professor at the Osaka Municipal University, Japan, and at the Polytechnic School, in France. His current lines of research are the social responsibility of organizations, the processes of social deinstitutionalization and the processes of modernization of universities. Member of the Editorial Board since March 2019.

Dr. Elder De la Rosa Cruz, He obtained his university degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Higher School of Physics and Mathematics of the National Polytechnic Institute and a doctorate degree from the Center for Research in Optics (CIO). From 2000 to 2018 he was a senior fellow at the CIO where he became CEO. He is a member of the National System of Researchers level III. He has published more than 100 scientific articles in international journals. He is currently studying the linear and non-linear optical properties of advanced materials for photonic applications, the synthesis of the luminescence of nanostructured materials for lighting systems, biomedical applications and solar cells, as well as the preparation of scintillating optical fibers.

Dr. Rafael Francisco Rivera Bustamante, has been a Director of Irapuato Unit of the Center of Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) since 2005. He graduated as a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Biology Department of the University of California-Riverside in 1987. He is an investigator of the Department of Genetic Engineering of CINVESTAV in Irapuato, a current member of the National System of Researchers Level III and a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. His lines of research focus on the molecular characterization of geminivirus that infects the harvests in Mexico, the plant-pathogen interactions using as the models geminivirus (PHYVV and PepGMV) and its host plants like chili, tobacco and Arabidopsis thaliana, geminivirus as a model for studies of cellular processes in plants (DNA replication, gene expression, DNA recombination, etc.), the processes of transcriptional and post-transcriptional silencing of genes (TGS and PTGS) in the viral cycle and the resistance to viral diseases by means of genetic engineering. He has published more than 70 articles in the national and international journals, has given more than 50 conferences in the national and international institutions and supervised 18 PhDs and 11 Master’s degrees in Sciences. Dr. Rolando Pérez Álvarez, Doctor in Physics and Mathematics (1982) and Doctor in Sciences (2005), Master in Physics (1976), Bachelor in Physics (1971), all those degrees were awarded by the University of La Habana. He is a member of the National System of Researchers. Since his graduation in 1971 he went up through several teaching positions in the University of la Habana; in 1991 he reached the maximum grade. In 2007 he moved to the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM) where he is currently working as an Associate Professor and Researcher C. He has an extensive experience in teaching more than 17 pre-grade and 15 post-grade subjects in Physics and Mathematics. He has directed 5 doctoral, 9 Master’s and 9 Bachelor’s theses. He has published more than 130 papers in the refereed and indexed journals. He is an author of 5 books and monographs related to his research Works and some other teaching materials. At present, his research work is focused on the electronic properties of the layered systems like quantum wells, super grids and quasi-regular structures. He was Vice-President of the Cuban Society of Physics, President of the Cuban Committee of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, head of the Department of Theoretical Physics of the University of La Habana and a Full Academician of the Academy of Sciences in Cuba. In the UAEM he is a Coordinator of post-graduate program in Physics. Founding member of the Editorial Board since March 2008 and a Board Director since July 2008 to April 2017.
Dr. Ignacio Alfredo Rivero Espejel, is Chemist by Autonomous University of Baja California and a PhD by the Tijuana Technological Institute, she did postdoctoral studies at the University of California San Diego under the supervision of Charles Perrin. Since 1983 he has been a senior researcher at the Tijuana Technological Institute where he has been head of the Chemistry department and head of the Center for Graduates and Research in Chemistry. He has published more than 100 papers in specialized international journals and has generated 8 patents. He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and of the Editorial Committee of the Journal Chemical Society Bulletin. He has graduated 16 doctors and 30 masters of science. He belongs to the National System of Researchers Level III and specializes in heterocyclic compounds and organic synthesis in solid phase and their APL. Member of the Editorial Board since March 2010.
Dra. Mónica Liliana Guzmán, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology in Medicine, in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She obtained her doctorate degree at the University of Kentucky and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Rochester. Dr. Guzman leads a research program focused on the development of therapeutic strategies for targeting leukemic stem cells. In close collaboration with physicians and industry, her research has resulted in the translation of laboratory findings into two phase 1 clinical trials. She has authored or co-authored more than 20 papers in the field and has received funding from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, NIH, V Foundation, and the Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation, among other organizations. Dr. Guzman is the recipient of the NIH Director’s Innovator Award and the V Foundation Scholar Award, both in 2010. Member of the Editorial Board since february 2018.
Dr. Juan Manuel Malacara Hernández, Graduated from the Medical School at the University of Guanajuato, completed his post-graduate studies in the National Institute of Nutrition and did his post-doctoral stay at the Connecticut University. He is an Associate Researcher C in the Institute of Medical Research at the University of Guanajuato where he was a Director and is currently a Director of doctoral studies in sciences. He has written 126 works, 97 of which are the publications with impact factor and he has also edited seven books. He has directed 20 doctoral, 37 Master’s and 22 Bachelor’s theses. He is a member of the National System of Researchers Level III and among the recognitions he has are the awards "Alfonso Rivera" and "Salvador Zubiran" from the Mexican Society of Nutrition and Endocrinology, "Alfredo Duges" from the Congress of the State of Guanajuato and the prize CONCYTEG – Elsevier. He was a President of the Academy for Research in Reproductive Biology and the Mexican Society of Nutrition and Endocrinology. Member of the Editorial Board since December 2011.
Dr. Fernando De León-Pérez, PhD in Physical Sciences (2002) and Master’s in Physical Sciences (1998) from the Universidad de La Habana. Bachelor’s degree in Physics (1995) from the Universidad de Oriente, Cuba. He works as a Professor at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa since 2010, where he teaches General Physics to the cadets of the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, enrolled in the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research degree. He has 20 years of experience as a teacher and researcher. His current fields of research are: the photonics of nanostructured metals (plasmon) and the phonons in layers of treated semiconductors. He has done postdoctoral stays in the University of São Paulo, the University of Stuttgart and the University of Zaragoza. He is a member of the Editorial Board since November 2015.
Dr. Oscar Fernando Contreras Montellano, Degree in Sociology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and PhD in Social Sciences from the Colegio de México. He is Head Researcher C in the Department of Social Studies of the Colegio de la Frontera Norte, Tijuana; he is currently the Executive Secretary of the Mexican Council of Social Sciences. His area of expertise is economic sociology, with research fields in technological learning, regional development and science sociology , topics on which he has published more than 100 works. He has taught more than 30 postgraduate classes in different institutions in the country and abroad. He is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (level III).
Dra. María Alicia Zavala Berbena, PhD in Education from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, Master’s degree in Research on Education and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology; the last two degrees were awarded by the University of Guanajuato. She has been working as a coordinator of the Research department of De La Salle Bajío University since 2004 and as a full teacher of the University of Guanajuato. She has also taught 52 courses to the university graduate and postgraduate students, directed 32 Bachelor’s, 8 Master’s and 3 doctoral theses. She has published 3 books, several book chapters and many articles in the national and international journals. Her works are focused on the search for the students with outstanding skills. Among the recognitions she has received are: she’s a Member of the National Board of Guidelines (supported by Secretary of Public Education - SEP) for the students with outstanding skills. Besides, she is a Member of the Word Council for Gifted and Talented Children; an advisor of the national project for the children with outstanding abilities, a President of the General Committee that grants the “Medal of De La Salle Bajio University for Academic Merits”. In addition, she is currently taking an active part in the Technical Board of the Science and Technology Council of the University of Guanajuato. Founding member of the Editorial Board since March 2008.
Dr. José Antonio Otero Hernández, Graduated in Physics and Master in Physics from the University of Havana. He is a Doctor in Physical Sciences from the Institute of Cybernetics, Mathematics and Physics of the Ministry of Sciences of Cuba. He served as director of the Department of Applied Physics, Deputy Director of Research and Director of the Institute of Cybernetics, Physical Mathematics of the Ministry of Sciences of Cuba. He directed the National Basic Sciences Program in Cuba for 5 years. He was the recipient of the Annual Prize of the Cuban Academy of Sciences on more than 5 occasions. Since 2014 he has been a research professor at ITESM, in the State of Mexico campus, where he combines his teaching work with the activity of research and training of human resources, as well as academic management. He has to his credit more than 80 published articles, a score of Technical Reports and more than 100 presentations at Congresses, as well as 5 supervised doctoral theses and many others in process. He is a recognized specialist in wave propagation in rolled media, homogenization theory, and complex heat transport problems.
