Abstract

This work aims to show the result of an analysis conducted in the State ofTocantins (Brazil) in order to determine the optimal points for the installation ofplants for the manufacture of biodiésel. For this analysis were considered variables such transportation, production, storage, supply of raw materials such as grease, oil or any other product that canbe used to produce biodiésel. We know that in modern times to get a good result, companies have to focus on a rigorous analysis of the logistics chain, aimed at a lower cost may make the products and services are available somewhere where necessary. To get the results we use in our mathematical model Mixed Integer Linear Programming (PLEM) and after scenarios related technique to obtain a satisfactory result.
